DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police offered new details about a carjacking that turned into a chase on Saturday night. Officers arrested one person, officers previously said two people. They also say the carjacking started in Wheat Ridge.

Denver police first saw the stolen vehicle at 13th Avenue and Meade Street at around 5 p.m. They say the driver fled from officers who tried to stop the vehicle.

A chase ensued for about 18 minutes and ended near Evans Avenue and Cook Street. Officers say they used a so-called PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle.
