Denver fire investigates what caused building to catch fire near Colfax and Franklin

Denver Fire Department tweeted Wednesday afternoon that it worked to put out a structure fire that was reported near East Colfax Avenue and North Franklin Street.

So far, no injuries have been reported, but due to the complications of the fire and current wind conditions, crews were forced to fight it from outside in. 

DFD advises the public to avoid the area as fire crews investigate the fire.
