Late Night Fire Burns Several Homes; Displaces Residents

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver firefighters rescued three people from a fire that blazed through a row of houses near Bruce Randolph Avenue and Clayton Street.

The fire started at around 10 p.m in the front of the buildings. Seven of the 10 homes were affected.

The whole building had to be evacuated.

The Red Cross was called in to help displaced residents. RTD also provides buses to hold those residents until the Red Cross could make hotel arrangements.

In all, eight adults, one child and a family pet were helped.

Fire investigators are determining the cause.
