Dance Studio Offers Reward After Trailer With Props Is Stolen

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Dancers in Colorado Springs are begging thieves to return their stolen trailer.

The trailer belongs to Dance Unlimited, and it contained props used in competitions. It was stolen on Tuesday.

Once she realized it was missing, directCor Zorene Cruise called police to file an unusual report.

"I said, 'We had a 7 1/2 foot tall butterfly. And then I realized it, I go 'You think this is a joke, right?' She goes, 'I didn't say that.' And I'm like 'Well, because the next thing is a 7-foot pumpkin and a 7-foot carriage with rhinestones.' She goes, 'I bet there was a pair of glass slippers involved,' and I said yes," Cruise said.

The trailer had a Colorado license plate 333XRZ. The studio is offering a reward of at least $500 to get the props back.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Dance Unlimited at (719) 528-5715.
