Cows Break Free From Pasture, Found Wandering In Neighborhood
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Colorado Springs captured some unusual suspects on Tuesday after they broke free of their pen and started wandering around neighborhoods.
Seven cows had broken free from their fenced-in pasture about 6 a.m. on Tuesday and roamed the streets of the Northgate neighborhood, grazing on lawns and munching garden plants.
Police say the young cows were skittish but officers were able to guide them to the end of the street and back into their pen.
No officers or cattle were injured during the roundup.
