Couple From Kansas City Thought They'd Be Boating In Colorado This Weekend
GENESEE, Colo. (CBS4) - The spring snowstorm that moved into the Front Range caught plenty of people off guard on Saturday.
The snow caused dangerous driving conditions on Interstate 70 from the Denver metro area up into the high country.
"I was fishing this morning up by Deckers and surprised to be getting this much snow now," Randy Weidner of Genesee said.

Another Genesee resident told CBS4 she wasn't surprised by the snow. But a couple from Kansas City was definitely surprised by Mother Nature.
"Beautiful weather (in Kansas City) -- sunny skies, 70s, 80s," Amy Stracner said. "We thought when we were coming out here we would be going out on her (cousin's) boat for the weekend."
