Coronavirus In Colorado: West Metro Fire Rescue Adds More Ambulances
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Crews with West Metro Fire Rescue are getting ready for a potential surge in COVID-19 patients. On Monday, another Medic 17 was put into service.
Another ambulance, Medic 19 will also be on standby. That makes 13 ambulances in service for West Metro Fire.
West Metro crews have responded to a growing number of coronavirus cases over the past week. That means the time it takes to get patients to the hospital and disinfect ambulances has increased.
