Construction Worker Struck, Injured By Car On Highway 6 In Clear Creek Canyon

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A construction worker was conscious and breathing after being hit by a car in Clear Creek Canyon. It happened on Highway 6 near Highway 119 just before 7 a.m.
The car ended up on the path that runs next to the creek, down the embankment from the highway.
The woman who was driving was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officials said they are investigating whether she was intoxicated. She was issued a summons.
