Colorado's First New Year's Baby Born In Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Colo. (CBS4) – Colorado's first New Year's baby was born at Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville.
Baby girl Brooklyn Nolasco was born at 12;03 a.m. and weighs 6 pounds, 11 ounces.
Her mom said that she definitely wasn't expecting a New Year's baby.
"Her due date was Jan. 18. We had a scheduled c-section for Jan 10. And she decided to come early, she wanted to be famous," said mother Melanie Nolasco.
Nolasco and her kids apparently have a thing for holidays.
She also has two boys. One was born on earth day and the other was born the day before Thanksgiving
