Colorado weather: Dry and mild start to December

23.3 inches of snow fell in the month of November making it the fourth snowiest Novembers on record. Looking ahead to the first week of December we are expecting sunny and dry conditions with temperatures running above normal.

Sunday daytime high temperatures will top out in the upper 40s and low 50s. In the mountains, temperatures will be in the 30s and low 40s. The average high temperature for the 1st of December is 47 degrees. We will have breezy conditions across the foothills with wind gusts reaching 40 to 50 miles per hour. The wind will relax by Sunday evening and we are expecting calmer conditions statewide on Monday. Daytime high temperatures will stay in the upper 40s and low 50s on Monday. Tuesday will be the warmest day of the workweek with temperatures close to 60 degrees, thanks to downsloping winds. Conditions look to remain dry and sunny through the rest of the week for the Denver metro area with daytime highs staying in the 50s.
