Police Continue To Search For Gunman In Shooting Investigation
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Colorado Springs were trying to find the gunman as they investigated an active shooter situation on Friday afternoon.
Police said they had not found the gunman as of 8 p.m. Friday. No one was injured in the shooting.

Initially, police tweeted urgent messages urging people to stay away from the scene.
Media update in the 5700 block of North Academy Blvd. Still active scene. Please stay out of the area. Residence shelter in place and do not open your doors to strangers.

Police had enacted a residence shelter and urged homeowners to not open doors to strangers.

Police set up a large perimeter surrounding the shooting scene.
A reverse 911 went out to residents in the area informing them of the threat.
It was unclear what led up to the shooting.
