USGS Reports 2.8 Magnitude Earthquake Near Aspen Saturday Night

DENVER (CBS4) - A 2.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded near the Eagle County and Pitkin County line at 9:02 p.m. Saturday. The quake hit about 6 miles west-southwest of Norrie, which is an unincorporated community about 40 miles from Glenwood Springs and roughly 7 miles from Aspen.

As of this posting six people filed reports on the USGS website saying they felt a weak or light shaking. No damage or injuries have been reported.
