Balloon Classic Wows Spectators In Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Hot air balloons are prettying up the skies in Colorado Springs this weekend during the annual Colorado Balloon Classic.
The festival is held each year in Memorial Park off Pikes Peak Avenue.
The following photos were posted on the festival's Facebook page this weekend.
The website states that "mass ascensions of dozens of balloons" take place each morning during the Labor Day weekend.
The festival is located at the park between Hancock Avenue and Union Boulevard near Prospect Lake.
CBS4 partner KKTV reported that this will be the last year for the festival in the city.
