Chemical Contained In Building In Aurora, 1 Hospitalized

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A hazmat team at a building in Aurora that was evacuated after a dangerous chemical reaction took place say they've now got the situation under control.

One person was taken to the hospital, and it's not clear what that person's condition is.

The reaction took place after authorities say acid and oxidizer mixed and a reaction occurred.

The building is in the Aurora Business Center and located at 21101 E. 32nd Parkway. That's north of Interstate 70 and east of Pena Boulevard by E-470.

A sign outside the building reads Advanced Circuits.

Firefighters told CBS4 there was no threat to the public.
