South Park Creators To Buy Casa Bonita For $3.1 Million

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The creators of South Park are prepared to buy Casa Bonita in Lakewood. The effort to save what some would call a Colorado institution will cost Trey Parker and Matt Stone $3.1 million, according to bankruptcy documents.
The restaurant on Colfax Avenue filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.
The sale is pending a judge's approval. When it was confirmed Parker and Stone would buy it, they said they had plans to improve the food.
