C.J. Anderson To Stay With The Broncos

DENVER (CBS4) - C.J. Anderson will be back in a Broncos uniform next season.

General Manager John Elway announced that the Broncos matched the $18 million, four-year offer from the Miami Dolphins for Anderson, who was a restricted free agent and was tendered at the low level, preserving refusal rights for the Broncos to match any offer sheet.

Anderson said in a tweet that he feels "blessed to be part of this wonderful organization."

Anderson has 338 career rushes for 1,607 yards and 13 touchdowns, as well as 59 receptions for 507 yards and two receiving touchdowns. He has also rushed for 323 yards and two TDs in the playoffs, including a touchdown in Super Bowl 50.

Running back Ronnie Hillman, Anderson's teammate in the backfield last season, is also a free agent and isn't expected to be back.
