Boulder Police Search For Sex Assault Suspect

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder asked for the public's help in finding a sexual assault suspect wanted in an attack over the weekend. Investigators released a composite sketch and stolen vehicle description on Tuesday.

Police said the man went into an unlocked home in the area of Ninth Street and Grandview on Saturday morning and sexually assaulted a woman.

The victim awoke shortly before 8 a.m. to a man sexually assaulting her. The female victim yelled at the man to leave and he complied. Investigators believe the the suspect took the keys to the victim's roommate's white Subaru Tribeca with Colorado license plate 080-QTA which is now missing.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic male between 20-30 years old, approximately 5-foot-6 with a shaved or bald head. At the time of the incident, the man was wearing a black baseball hat, a baggy white shirt and black running pants.

Police in Boulder have increased patrols in the area.
