Boulder Police Respond To Armed, Dangerous Person Inside Home
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder police say an emergency notification went out to residents near 17th and Grove Streets Monday evening. At around 6:40 p.m., police lifted a shelter in place order.
Police say they investigated a report of an armed and dangerous person inside a home. Police now say that incident is unrelated to the shooting at the King Soopers.
CBS4's Tori Mason reports seeing several SWAT officers surrounding an apartment building. Some residents were seen being escorted by police. It appeared they were not involved with the suspect apartment.
At around 6:15 p.m., officers were seen leaving the scene and taking down police scene tape. It's not clear if they took anyone in custody.
