Bolder Boulder Features Everyone From Pros To Children

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Final preparations were underway Sunday for the 37th running of the Bolder Boulder.

The race is the third largest in the country and seventh largest in the world.

More than 50,000 are expected to run the 10K course again this year, from professionals, to casual runners, to even children.

"I think it's a good family tradition to be able to run. I saw some kids that are like 8 years, 9 years old doing their first Bolder Boulder and hopefully we'll see them in like 10, 15 years keep doing it," said Meb Keflezighi, who finished second In the 2004 Bolder Boulder. "It's a big accomplishment when you finish a race."
