Help Needed Identifying 2 Bodies Found Colorado River
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP/CBS4) - Authorities are asking for help identifying the bodies of two men found in the Colorado River in Grand Junction.
The bodies of the men - a white male between 40 and 50 years old and a white male between 30 and 50 years old with a mustache and beard - were found Sunday in different locations by people recreating in the river.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office and Grand Junction police say there are no reports of any missing persons matching the descriptions of these men.
"At this time investigators have no reason to believe the deaths are related," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
Mesa County Deputy Amanda Erkman told The Daily Sentinel that the deaths will be investigated as homicides until the manner and cause of death can be determined.
