LOOK: 2 Black Hawk Helicopters Land In Downtown Denver

DENVER (CBS4) -- Two Black Hawk helicopters landed in downtown Denver Tuesday afternoon.

One landed on the grass between the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Speer Boulevard.

The helicopters were transporting survey teams to perform site visits for the Colorado Convention Center and other alternate care sites. Mayor Michael Hancock and Gov. Jared Polis were expected to join the survey team, which includes U.S. Army Lieutenant General Todd Semonite, Commanding General and 54th U.S. Army Chief of Engineers.
