2 Vehicles Pulled From Big Thompson River After Trying To Avoid Crash
ESTES PARK, Colo. (CBS4)- Rescue crews pulled two vehicles from the Big Thompson River after they ended up in the water to avoid a crash. CBS4 photojournalist Dale Atchison was there right after it happened on Monday night.
The drivers apparently swerved to miss each other about three miles east of Estes Park. Both vehicles went into the water, one completely submerged and the other partially submerged.
Rescuers say both drivers will be okay. The crash remains under investigation.
