Bear Spotted In Lone Tree, Residents Asked To Stay Vigilant
LONE TREE, Colo. (CBS4) - Lone Tree city officials are reminding people there to watch for bears as the summer season heats up.
Last weekend, a bear was seen near Cook Creek Pool and at the Contour 39 Apartments.
This past weekend a bear sighting was reported near Cook Creek Pool and again at the Contour 39 Apts. It ran away before LTPD arrived so we urge residents to remain vigilant. If you spot it again, call LTPD immediately. And if you take video if, ALWAYS keep safety first. pic.twitter.com/vvWLqIuBqW

The bear ran before police arrived. They urge people to stay smart and stay safe when bears come around.
