Aurora Police Department's Newest K-9 Officer Quickly Nabs First Criminal
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - One of Aurora's new police recruits helped find a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash Saturday night.
Deuce is the newest member of Aurora's K-9 unit. He chased down a suspect who ran into a neighborhood after crashing a stolen vehicle.
The suspect was hiding under a parked trailer. After several warnings he chose not to surrender, so Deuce went in and helped pull him out.
It was Deuce's first time seeing action in the field.
