Academy Graduate Gets Badge And The Girl
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Among the 42 recruits graduating from 10 law enforcement agencies in Jefferson County on Thursday, only one graduate proposed to his future wife.
The proposal happened during the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Lakewood Combined Regional Law Enforcement Academy graduation where one Arvada police graduate got down on one knee after getting his badge... and she said "Yes!"

At the ceremony Jeffco District Attorney addressed the crowd and graduates.
According to the website, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Lakewood Combined Regional Law Enforcement Academy is a 21-week program designed to prepare graduates for a career as a certified law enforcement officer. The academy trains officers from more than 15 municipal, county and state agencies and is recognized as a leader in law enforcement instruction statewide. Academy graduates go on to work as deputy sheriffs, police officers, fire/rescue personnel, CBI agents or state gaming agents throughout Colorado.
