Arvada Residents Facing Outdoor Watering Restrictions As Ralston Reservoir Closes For Repairs

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4)- People living in Arvada will be facing outdoor watering restrictions beginning next month. The restrictions come as Denver Water closes down Ralston Reservoir for repairs.
The reservoir will be taken offline, drained and maintenance completed over the next nine months.
The other factor contributing to the watering restrictions is the unusual heat for this time of year. The hot, dry conditions are creating a higher demand for water.
