"We both came around the corner and the assailant was just standing there with a gun drawn on us," said the manager of Way to Grow in Boulder, who did not want to be identified. "Initially I thought it was someone I might know, I thought potentially it was a prank."

The suspect is described as approximately 5'8" tall, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds, and was wearing a white ski mask with bright gold ski goggles with an Oakley logo at the time of the robbery.

"I looked back at the guy and asked, 'Is this for real?' He said, 'Yes, give me the damn money,'" said the manager.

"He only walked away with [an undisclosed amount of] money," said Shannon Cordingly, spokesperson for the Boulder Police Department.

He had on a grey long sleeve sweater, blue jeans, and tan suede boots, and was last seen leaving the area in an "eggshell" white colored wagon-style SUV with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators says they believe the suspect in this case is connected to a similar robbery at the Way to Grow in Adams County on Nov. 5.

Police applaud the employees for handing over the money and not putting their lives in danger.

Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to call Boulder police at 303-441-4329.

A cash reward of $1,000 for tips leading to the arrest and filing of charges on those involved is available from Crime Stoppers.
