Police: Amber Alert Canceled, Girl Found, Grandmother In Custody

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4)- An amber alert was cancelled on Friday night less than two hours after it was issued when the missing 7-year-old girl out of Pueblo was found, and her grandmother was taken into custody. Rylee is not supposed to have contact with her grandmother.

Police said Rylee Nicole Lewis was last seen at Carlisle Elementary School located at 736 West Evans in Pueblo. She is a 7 year old white female with long and straight brown hair last seen wearing a navy blue school shirt and navy blue pants. Her hair is long and dark and believed to have been worn in a pony tail but is known to remove it once she is out of school.

Rylee was with her grandmother, Joy Forsythe, 57. Forsythe is a white female with long, straight or messy brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt with no design, blue jeans and brown slippers with fur on top. Her hair was messy.

She is known to wear oxygen all the time. She was last seen at Carlisle Elementary School when she picked up Rylee.

Where the Rylee and Forsythe were found has not been released.
