Alcohol Believed To Be Factor In Fatal Crash Into Pond Near CU
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The Colorado State Patrol now says they suspect alcohol was a factor after a man was found dead in his car submerged in a pond in Boulder.
Last Sunday a jogger noticed a car in a pond near the University of Colorado campus and called police. Rescue divers ended up finding Andrew Hector MacLean, 37, dead inside his vehicle.
Authorities say MacLean lost control of his car while trying to get on Highway 36 from Foothills Parkway. He wasn't wearing a seat belt when he crashed.
