"He tried to stop the vehicle and they ended up out of the vehicle on foot," Boulder County sheriff's spokeswoman Carrie Haverfield told the Longmont Times-Call. "There was a foot chase, but the suspects escaped. Some of our other deputies helped with the search. One suspect was later found."

Officers later located Sinka hiding in a plastic storage bin in a backyard of a home.

"Our K-9 officer entered the backyard, and guess what they found? The suspect in a box," Cmdr. Jeff Satur said.

Satur said Sinka was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespassing, careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
