1 killed, 1 detained in crash at Central Park Boulevard and I-70 in Denver

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash at Central Park Boulevard and I-70 in Denver late Sunday night. According to Denver police, one vehicle was stalled in the Express Lane and the person was out of his vehicle standing in front of it when the other driver crashed into him. 

That person was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. 

The driver that struck the stalled vehicle fled the crash scene and was contacted and arrested nearby. Miguel Guevara-Chavez, 55, is being held for investigation of vehicular homicide, DUI and leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
