World Series Ticket Tiff At Wrigley Field

CHICAGO (CBS) – There was drama Saturday morning at Wrigley Field, as tickets to the World Series games are the hottest seat in town.

Some people camped out all night across the street from the Wrigley Field box office, only to be outrun by late arrivals.

It's a ticket tiff and is becoming a common occurrence, CBS 2's Lauren Victory reports.

The crowd waiting for Game 4 seats on Saturday started forming before the first pitch of Game 3 on Friday.

One man brought green tickets that are numbered to keep order of the line. He passed them out all the way to 288, until another group walked up.

"And they said the heck with the tickets, we're not honoring the tickets, we're just rushing the line," ticket hopeful Scott Vanden Heuvel said. "It does not make me feel good. It makes me pretty upset. Makes everyone in this line pretty upset, right? That's right, yea!"

There was a lot of confusion Saturday morning on where people can wait before the box office opens. But fans are out there all hoping to be lucky enough to get inside, proof that World Series tickets are the hottest tickets in town.
