Woman, Toddler Missing In Gary
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police and family members are searching for a 21-year-old woman and her young nephew who disappeared in Gary on Saturday.
The woman, Diamond Bynum, is mentally disabled and may not be familiar with the area. Her family moved to Gary in February.
Police say that Diamond might have taken her 2-year-old nephew, King Walker, to a nearby local store and then got lost.
Detectives and Bynum's family have been searching for missing two since Saturday near the family's home in the 500 block of Matthews Street, on the west side of Gary.
On Monday, the family was passing out flyers near a McDonald's at 5th and Grant. The two were fed by employees there when the went into the restaurant and said they were hungry.
