Woman Whose Body Was Found In SUV In Albany Park Was Shot And Killed
CHICAGO (CBS) – CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman whose body was found in a sport-utility vehicle in Albany Park this week had been shot and killed, authorities said Saturday.
At 11:22 p.m. Friday, the 42-year-old woman was found in the driver's seat of her 2003 black SUV in the 3300 block of West Cuyler Avenue. She had been shot in the head, police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office said Saturday that the woman, Azucena Vargas, died of a gunshot wound in a homicide.
Area Five detectives are investigating.
