White Sox-Royals Game Postponed
(CBS) Thursday evening's game between the Chicago White Sox and division rival Kansas City Royals at Kauffman has been postponed due to bad weather.
A makeup date has yet to be determined, the White Sox said on Twitter.
Chicago's trip to Kansas City comes as the White Sox have a precarious grip on first place in the American League Central. Chicago is a half-game ahead of the Cleveland Indians and two games ahead of the world champion Royals.
The White Sox will keep their rotation in line, manager Robin Ventura told reporters, pushing everyone back one day. That means right-hander Miguel Gonzalez will start Friday.
