Rainy Day Causes Late Start For White Sox Game
CHICAGO (CBS)--A rain delay postponed the start of today's Chicago White Sox game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The game was scheduled to start at 1:10 p.m. at Guaranteed Rate Field, but the first pitch was thrown at 2:45 p.m., the team said on Twitter.
Who would wanna be out there in this mess? But, when it's your job you do what you have to do. Reynaldo Lopez clocked out before the ump said "play ball!" Btw, The bad weather doesn't seem to be bothering Tampa Bay. #WhiteSox
