White Sox Are Selling Bat-Snapping Bo Jackson Bobbleheads

(CBS) An iconic Bo Jackson moment with the White Sox will be commemorated in style.

The White Sox are selling limited-edition bobbleheads featuring Jackson snapping a bat over his knee and into two pieces back in 1993. The bobbleheads also feature a football helmet at Jackson's feet to mark his two-sport career.

The bobbleheads cost $35 and are available at whitesox.com/BoBobble as well as at U.S. Cellular Field in sections 100, 135 and 535. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Chicago White Sox Charities.

"Bo has maintained a strong connection to his home here in Chicago by engaging with fans at the ballpark and in the community as a White Sox ambassador," CWSC executive director Christine O'Reilly said. "We are thrilled to offer fans an exclusive piece of sports memorabilia that celebrates his two-sport career and supports our philanthropic efforts in the Chicagoland community."

Jackson played eight seasons in MLB, including 1991 and 1993 with the White Sox. He was also a Pro Bowl running back in the NFL and was the first athlete to make All-Star teams in two major North American sports.
