Firefighters Rescue Person Hanging From Window Of Burning Building In West Pullman

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago firefighters rescued a person who was hanging from the window of a burning building Monday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood.

The Chicago Fire Department responded to the fire in a brick two-flat near 118th and Union around 1:20 p.m.

One person was hanging from a second-floor window when firefighters arrived, and crews were able to rescue them.

Firefighters were still working to extinguish the fire Monday afternoon.
