West Chicago Man And Woman Charged With Drug-Induced Homicide

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A west suburban man and woman have been charged with drug-induced homicide in the death of a 20-year-old Naperville man last year.

Osvaldo S. Camaro and Carol M. Celozzi, both 22, have been charged with drug-induced homicide and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, according to the DuPage County sheriff's office.

On Dec. 24, 2015, the sheriff's office responded to an unresponsive man at a home on Plank Road in unincorporated Naperville, authorities said.

Jacob Hageman, 20, died of a heroin overdose, according to the sheriff's office. Investigators learned from Hageman's family that he may have bought the heroin from someone in West Chicago.

Camaro and Celozzi were selling heroin out of their home in the 900 block of Gates Street in West Chicago, according to the sheriff's office. Both were charged in February with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

On Wednesday, the sheriff's office announced the new charges against the couple.

Both Camaro and Celozzi remain in the DuPage County Jail, where they have been held since their arrest in February, on $500,000 bonds, according to the sheriff's office.
