Waukegan Store Robbed At Gunpoint Twice In Two Days
(CBS) -- A Family Dollar store in Waukegan has been robbed at gunpoint twice in two days, police said.
On Thursday, Waukegan police responded to an armed robbery at the store at 610 S. Genesee Street at 12:14 p.m. Police say a man wearing a mask entered the store and pulled out a handgun. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
The next day, police responded to an armed robbery at 5:50 p.m. at the same store. Police say an armed man wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black mask demanded money from the cashier at gunpoint, police said. Police did not disclose the amount of money taken.
