WATCH: Spider Video Bombs Ed Curran's Forecast

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Strange things can happen during live television.
On Wednesday, a spider video bombed the top of Ed Curran's forecast during the 5 p.m. newscast.
The eight-legged critter crawled over the lens of a live tower camera, which overlooks Grant Park. It appeared as if it wanted to take a dive into Buckingham Fountain.
Ed and anchor Rob Johnson made light of the moment.
"They love our cameras," Curran said.
