Watch: Paul George Hits 3-Pointer From Center-Court Logo
(CBS) Thanks to a late shot clock reset Wednesday night, Indiana's Paul George drilled a 3-pointer from a distance rarely seen.
After Roy Hibbert rebounded his own miss, which should've immediately reset the shot clock, he kicked it out to George, who was standing near a few steps inside the half-court line on the edge of the Pacers' logo. Thinking the shot clock was about to expire -- it would be reset just as he started shooting -- George hoisted and swished a 3-pointer from what figures to be just short of 40 feet.
The best part was that the shot? It wasn't a heave, it was a regular jumper, just with some extra oomph.

The Pacers went on to defeat the Pistons, 101-94, to snap a three-game losing streak that's been part of a larger slide. Maybe Indiana should let loose more often.
