Watch: Jose Abreu's 2 Homers Against Indians
(CBS) In just a few short weeks, White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu has become a household name in Major League Baseball. He has an AL-best four homers and an MLB-best 14 RBIs while batting .300 with a 1.108 OPS.
Abreu had another big night Thursday against the Indians, when he launched a pair of homers -- the second time in three games in which he went yard twice. The first homer was on a hanging slider and of the majestic variety, but the second one was arguably more impressive. He sent a backdoor breaking ball down and away screaming over the left-field wall. There's only a select group of players in all of baseball who could've hit that pitch so hard.
Watch below and then tell us, will Abreu hit 35-plus homers for the White Sox this season?
