Watch: Chicagoans Celebrate Team USA's Win In Grant Park

(CBS) World Cup fever has found Chicago, nowhere more so than on Monday evening in Grant Park, where an estimated 8,000 fans gathered to watch Team USA's 2-1 win against Ghana in the opener on a 19-by-33-foot HD big screen at Arvey Field.

After plenty of tension, the fans in Grant Park went nuts when American sub John Brooks headed home the game-winner in the 86th minute for a crucial victory.

Chicago Fire team videographer Leo Flores was on hand, and he compiled a terrific video to capture the day's emotions, including the wild celebration.
