Watch: Anti-Gambling Ad Features A Kid Who's Sad Because His Dad Bet On Germany
(CBS) You just can't make some things up.
Like this, for example.
A National Council on Gambling Problem created an anti-gambling ad ahead of the World Cup, featuring several children talking about who they thought would win on soccer's biggest stage. After some bantering, the camera pans onto Andy, who is sad.
Why is Andy sad?
Because his dad -- apparently a gambling addict -- bet all his life savings on Germany.
Now, we don't condone gambling, but you can't deny how entertaining this clip is after the Germans destroyed host and favorite Brazil, 7-1, in yesterday's semifinal.
