Spotty showers possible in Chicago overnight

Mostly sunny Sunday in store for Chicago area

CHICAGO (CBS) — A few spotty showers are possible after midnight Saturday in the Chicago area as a weak cold front crosses the area. The front may stall near Interstate 80 on Sunday, so there is a 20% chance of a stray shower or rumble on Sunday in that area.

Monday and Tuesday will be more humid. Models keep slowing the forward speed of the storm complex, so temperatures will be able to reach the upper 80s on both Monday and Tuesday. With the added humidity, storms may form at times.

An organized squall line is expected late Tuesday evening, and severe storms are possible, including flooding.
