Warm And Breezy Start For Thursday; Storms Roll Through At Night
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Enjoy the warm sunny weather while it lasts. Showers and storms will be moving into the Chicago area Thursday night, and the summer-like temperatures will be gone by the weekend.
Most of Thursday will be warm and breezy, with a high in the mid 80s, according to the National Weather Service. Cloud cover should increase throughout the day, but organized showers and storms weren't expected until Thursday evening, into early Friday.
More showers and storms were expected on and off Friday, through Saturday morning, as temperatures start to cool off.
While some sunshine could break through on Friday, most of the day will have some chance of rain. It also will be the last day of temperatures in the 80s for a while.
Though Saturday will start off rainy, skies should clear by mid-morning, starting a stretch of cool dry weather stretching into the middle of next week, with highs in the upper 60s or low 70s from Saturday through Wednesday.
