Vikings Use Photo Of Adrian Peterson Kissing A Young Boy To Promote Family Day
(CBS) The Minnesota Vikings have curiously used a photo of running back Adrian Peterson kissing a young boy to promote their Family Day at training camp.
This is notable because Peterson missed almost the entire 2014 season on the commissioner's exempt list after he was alleged to have hit his 4-year-old son with a switch. The boy suffered cuts and bruising, according to court records. Peterson avoided prison by taking a plea deal and has remained steadfast that he's not a child abuser, but the move by the Vikings' social media team is nonetheless tone-deaf.
