View: Clippers Website Displays 'We Are One' Slogan Following Sterling Ban
(CBS) Shortly after NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been banned from the league for life and fined $2.5 million for ugly, insensitive racial remarks he made that were recorded, the Clippers' website marked the somber occasion by the photo above.
It simply read, "We Are One" in white lettering on an otherwise black page. There was no live link to get to the rest of the team's site from the page. Seems fitting as punishment was handed down in an ugly incident.
