Very Mild Conditions Tomorrow, But Cool And Damp Mid-Week

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Temperatures should soar into the 60s on Tuesday, giving a bit of relief from the recent chilly spell, but only a temporary one, as cooler temperatures will return mid-week, along with rain.

Monday's temperature was expected to reach around 47 degrees, which is just slightly below normal for this time of year.

Tuesday will bring much milder weather, with a high around 62, and mostly clear skies.

However, temperatures will fall back into to normal on Wednesday, with a high of about 50, and a 70 percent chance of rain.

Thursday will be pretty much the same, with a high of around 45, and a 60 percent chance of rain.

Skies should clear for the weekend, but temperatures will likely hover at or below normal through the end of the month, with only a few days of temperatures above 50.
